We collect only information you provide voluntarily, which may include your name, contact information, payment details for online donations, and your mobile phone number if you choose to receive text messages from us.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information to respond to your requests, process donations, and communicate parish news and events through channels you have authorized. We do not use it for commercial marketing and do not sell, trade, or rent it to anyone.
Sharing Your Information
We share your information only within our ministry, with service providers who support our operations (such as payment processors and our text messaging platform), or as required by law. We will never share your information with outside organizations for their marketing purposes.
Text Messaging (SMS) Program
We use text messaging to stay connected with our parish community. Joining is easy and free, and you can stop at any time.
What We Send
We send three types of messages to those who have signed up:
- Peer-to-peer communications — internal, day-to-day coordination with employees and key volunteers about church-related events, ministries, and activities.
- Service & event reminders — schedule updates, service times, cancellations, and emergency notifications.
- Community updates — parish news, ministry announcements, stewardship messages, and pastoral care follow-up.
Message frequency varies with parish activity. We do not send spam.
Easy Ways to Sign Up
We’ve made it as simple as possible to join. Choose whichever works best for you:

Visit holyfamilychapelhill.org or the Church Center Portal and check the SMS opt-in box on any contact or sign-up form.
Sign a paper form:
Paper sign-up forms are available at the church office and at parish events.
Call or ask a staff member:
Call us at 919-942-3108 or ask any staff member and we’ll add you right away.
What you’re agreeing to when you sign up:
By signing up, you consent to receive recurring text messages from Church of the Holy Family at the number provided, including peer-to-peer communications with employees and key volunteers, service and event reminders, and community updates.
