Who We Are

Welcome to the Church of the Holy Family!

Our Mission

To be a holy family, the Body of Christ,
forgiven and forgiving,
restored and restoring,
through faith and love,
in life and mission.

As followers of Jesus, we seek to be a church that continues in the apostles’ teaching and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in the prayers. Baptized into one Body, we are sent out every week to proclaim by word and example the Good News of God in Christ: striving for justice and peace among all people and respecting the dignity of every human being.

What We Believe

We believe in a loving, liberating, life-giving God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Holy Family is a parish within the Diocese of North Carolina and a member of The Episcopal Church, a denomination which is itself a part of the worldwide Anglican Communion. We are rooted in Scripture, enlivened by the Spirit, and guided by tradition and reason. Our worship is grounded in our tradition’s “prayer book,” The Book of Common Prayer.
