What to Expect on Sunday

Join us for worship on Sunday!

Worship at Holy Family is rooted in the Anglican tradition, following the liturgies found in The Book of Common Prayer.

When you visit, you will find ushers and greeters in the lobby/foyer area (otherwise known as the Narthex). Take a moment today hello, and feel free to ask any questions if you need help finding your way! You are also welcome to fill out a Newcomer Card either online or in-person from the holder on the back of the pew. Simply put the card in the offering plate as it goes by, or hand it to one of the greeters on your way out of the service.

Sunday Morning at 8:00 a.m. Celebration of the Holy Eucharist, Rite I. This service includes the traditional language of the Rite I liturgy (i.e., plenty of thee’s and thou’s). It does not include music, and therefore, it tends to be a shorter, more contemplative service.

Sunday Morning at 10:30 a.m. Celebration of the Holy Eucharist, Rite II. This service includes contemporary language and includes a variety of hymns and musical offerings. Holy Family draws on a variety of musical traditions: from chant and classical music, to gospel, bluegrass, and more.

Both services include a sermon, Holy Communion, and people who will be delighted to meet you.

Additional Service Information

Kids in Worship. As Jesus did, we welcome children of all ages as members of the body of Christ, and we love to have them in worship with us. If you would like to make use of our nursery care downstairs (4 years old and under), it is open from 9:00 a.m.-Noon on Sundays.

Accessibility. Holy Family strives to make our services and programs comfortable and accessible to all. Assisted listening device instructions are available in the Narthex, and an elevator is available just inside the lobby area at the entrance facing the lower parking lot. Ushers and greeters are available to help. Please let us know how we can work together to improve your experience here.
